Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 · Takes effect · Last updated

This Cookie Policy explains how Solesca Energy, Inc. (“Solesca”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on solesca.com, and what choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more generally.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser so that it can recognize you on a later page or visit. Local storage and session storage are browser features that store small pieces of data on your device in the same way; session storage is cleared when you close the tab. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first-party; cookies set by another company’s service embedded in the site are third-party. This policy covers all of these.

The Solesca platform at app.solesca.com uses only the storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, such as your authentication tokens and unit settings. It does not use analytics, session-recording or advertising cookies, so it does not show a cookie banner.

2. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary
Required for the website to work and to remember the choice you make in the cookie banner. These do not need your consent.
Analytics
Help us understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from (including whether a visit came from an AI assistant such as ChatGPT), and whether a visit led to a demo request. We use Google Analytics 4 for this.
Marketing
Measure whether our advertising leads to demo requests (Google Ads conversion tracking) and identify the companies that visit our website so that our sales team can follow up (Apollo.io). We do not use advertising cookies to build audiences or to show you ads on other sites.

3. Your choices

3.1 The cookie banner:

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we show a banner before any analytics or marketing tool loads. Choosing Accept turns them on; choosing Reject keeps them off. Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories is loaded until you accept, and if you reject, no request is made to those providers at all. We remember your choice in local storage for twelve months and then ask again.

We detect your region from your browser’s time-zone setting rather than by looking up your location, so a visitor whose browser hides its time zone will also see the banner. Visitors from other regions do not see a banner; analytics and marketing tools load as described below, and the choices in this section remain available to them.

3.2 Changing your mind:

The “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page reopens the banner so you can change your choice at any time. Rejecting after you have accepted stops the tools from setting new cookies; existing cookies expire on their own schedule or can be cleared as described below.

3.3 Global Privacy Control:

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to keep marketing cookies off, without any further action on your part.

3.4 Google Consent Mode:

Google’s tags on our site run in Consent Mode. For visitors in the regions above, all consent flags default to “denied” and are switched to “granted” only when you accept in the banner. Google may separately apply its own regional defaults.

4. The cookies and storage we use

The table lists every cookie or storage key that solesca.com sets or reads. Durations are the provider’s stated maximum; a cookie may be removed earlier if you clear it or reject the category.

hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, __hssrcHubSpotMarketingHubSpot visitor cookies. solesca.com does not set these; if another HubSpot-enabled site has already set hubspotutk in your browser, we read it when you submit the demo form so HubSpot can connect the request to your existing record.6 months, 6 months, 30 minutes, until the browser is closed

The demo form on solesca.com submits your details directly to HubSpot’s forms service without loading HubSpot’s tracking script, and our scheduling links open Calendly in a new tab on Calendly’s own site, where Calendly’s cookie policy applies.

5. Other requests to third parties

A few parts of the website load resources from other companies without setting cookies. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, and a small loading-animation script is served by the jsDelivr content delivery network; each of these receives your IP address and browser details as part of the request. Neither is used to track you across sites.

6. Clearing cookies in your browser

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data. Deleting site data for solesca.com also clears the local-storage keys in the table above, including your banner choice, so the banner will appear again on your next visit if you are in a region where it is shown. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of our website or the platform from working, because the platform relies on strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in.
